What are you called for?

I want to share a little story with you that I didn't want anyone to know about but you. As an I.T person; all I wanted was to work with systems and nothing else. I didn't want to talk to anybody but systems and I thought I was at peace with this but I wasn't. During my journey of exploring in the I.T industry I was always directed to a point where I had to work with people and not systems. I was teaching people how to use the systems I implemented, at some point, I was at the service desk, assisting people with the problems that they've experienced. This created a conflict with what I was hoping for and what God has called me for.

In 2012 I had a conversation with God about my purpose in life, I needed a supernatural clarity on the reasons of me being on earth. After a while God answered me, I become a motivational person. I started this blog about two years ago and I was able to touch lives of many people across the globe. All these happened because of the power of God's purpose in my life.

In hardship, I still do what I am called for. The journey isn't easy, people expect you to motivate them even when you're going rainy seasons; but I still do it wholeheartedly because the grace of God is sufficient every day of my life. I do cry, but not most of you know about that, they believe I am stronger than that. I go through hard times, but I still do what I have to do! No one pays me for this but I am still enjoying it.

My purpose in life is to empower people, to speak to them at their time of despair but I was busy hiding my calling with something else. Your purpose in life has nothing to do with what you want but what God wants. The reasons why we fail is that we want to use our own powers and convince ourselves of how life should be. I now find more pleasure talking to people than systems, it makes me very happy when I see somebody smile, and I therefore make any means to make everyone smile again, every day!

It is never about the money, ask God first and everything will fall into place. Your purpose is connected to the job you do, to the people you call friends and to the person you are to marry. So many of us are with people we shouldn't be with, we are working where we are not supposed to be working and this creates a conflict within us because we are holding on to things that do not belong to us. What are you called to do?
